About the event:
Dessert Before Dinner features some of Las Vegas' most talented pastry chefs in a culinary competition to create the tastiest dessert using the same Girl Scout cookie. Guests are encouraged to taste each of the desserts and vote for the one they like the best. Dinner follows, where the winning chef is named and Girl Scouts recognize community members and companies that have played an important part in supporting girls throughout Southern Nevada. This year the organization is proud to present the Girl Scout Community Benefactor Award to Danoski Clutts Building Group.
The following is a message from Danoski Clutts Building Group's President, Mr. Bryce Clutts:
Over the past several years, I have dedicated my time and resources towards enhancing the level of awareness for the Girl Scouts of Frontier Council organization in our community. This year, I am humbled by the fact that our firm, Danoski Clutts Building Group, is being honored by teh Girl Scouts of Frontier Council with its Girl Scout Community Benefactor Award. Although we are flattered by such recognition, this event cannot be about what we have done, but rather what is still yet to be accomplished.
That is why I am personally asking for your support and attendance at this event. With revenues down and grants more difficult to obtain, we cannot afford to engage in a hope strategy for our girls. Now more than ever they need a safe place in which to grow, learn and develop. This can only happen through the generosity of us all.
